🔐 What's the difference between ADMIN and USER in section Access in Qlik Sense ?

I finally found it 😆

Who among us has never had to use Section Access?
Not many I guess

But do you know all the details?

Until recently, I didn't see the difference between ADMIN and USER in Qlik Sense

But as I am working intensively on the subject of security, I finally found 😁

With ADMIN, you can let a null value in a field used to filter data, and you'll have access to the entire dataset. With USER, No

Why using an empty space ? Using * will give you access to all other values in the section access table, while with an empty space you are sure to access all the data 🧙‍♂️

Were you aware of that ? Do you have similar tips to share?

And yes, when you are ADMIN with *, you have all values of the field, but not if you are a USER. Thanks !
